What soap/cream did you use today?

You are correct Sir!  I am finally home after being gone for the past couple weeks and that soap finally gave out on me this morning...absolutely perfect timing

I tried Proraso Red shaving cream for the first time. It works quite well, but others weren't kidding when they said it was "drying." The scent is pretty good.

Indian Flavour v. (Meißner Tremonia) cilantro, mint, lemongrass

It’s not hard to imagine what prompted this scent. Pop around the corner at lunch for a plate of vindaloo, and whammo!, inspiration stikes. Luckily these ingredients make as good a shave soap as they do a chutney, which is to say, the puck smells tasty but not entirely edible. You wouldn’t call Indian Flavour a gourmand fragrance any more than you would confuse a fougère with a Caesar salad. IF smells like it came out of the herb garden, but it doesn’t seem destined for the dinner table. And that’s good because truly delicious aromas never work for me in grooming products.
