Wholly Kaw Twice Spice

Somali Rose t. (Lisa's Natural Herbal Creations) ★★★★☆ spicy rose

Along with the spice and rose there's a layer of cocoa here that reminds me of fine French pastries. In fact, I think Lisa must like to bake a lot, so many of her soaps smell like they've just come from the kitchen. Sweet and spicy, they can be quite appetizing, but they can also become cloying when they're smeared all over a hot face. If it were served in a gilt platter, this soap could earn a Michelin star for its fragrance alone. But is wedding cake really what my wife wants me to smell like all morning?

The soap itself is very soft and makes a thick yogurty lather. The shave was perfect, and the finish was as rich as chocolate ganache.

XPEC Unscented shaving cream (first version) with couple drops of Bulgarian Rose EdP added during lather build. Excellent.

Wholly Kaw Lav Sublime

C.O. Bigelow cream (Cheap Baili TTO, no bowl, alum stick)

Used my travel set-up to see what it was like. Worked pretty well. Vacation won't be too bad. Shave cream isn't the best, but it's only for a few days at a time.
