Today I chose Cade soap for a very specific reason. I buried my Dad today in a small mountain cowboy cemetery at the base of the Jim Sage mountains here in Southern Idaho. Cade reminds me of the Junipers that surround that cemetery and of rides Dad and I have done working cattle. It reminds me of sunny days in the trees. I spent much of my memorial shave sucking deeply into my lungs the juniper scent of Cade. So long Big John. Enjoy your green pastures.
Sorry for your loss - those scent memories are special.

This one intrigues me. I really like Shannon's performance but can you give us a run-down on the scent?

Nectar Amissa t. (Noble Otter Soap Co.) ★★★★ woody floral

This smells like a bouquet of dried flowers intertwined with spices, withered juniper, and brittle pine branches. It's certainly unique and I enjoy it from late fall through the cool, dry heart of the winter. The lather comes together quickly and makes a rich emulsion that favors cushion over closeness. The name, Nectar Amissa, is sloppy Latin for 'lost nectar'. That hints at the dryness of the fragrance. Though sweet in parts, it's not at all sappy, fresh, or sticky.
