Wallgreen's disposable SE razor.

Bad shave. Not horrible, just bad. Not as bad as a Dorco disposable twin blade. Those are the worst.

Just bought one off the auction site.

When I bought the original Parker Adjustable Injector razor, I read several reviews comparing it the 1960's PAL adjustable.
One person said the Parker shave was a little milder than the PAL.

Thanks!
I probably made a better move with the PAL than the Parker.

What do you think of the Parker adjustable please?

Thanks!
François

Mine is the first generation which is a mild shaver, even turned all the way up.  They are now on the 3rd generation of this razor and I think they gave it a bit more range.  Overall, it's a good razor for the asking price, which was under $40 the last time I looked.

Regards,
Dave
Fendrihan Canada has the second generation in stock.
Do you think it's worth buying?

Thanks again!

Yes, it's worth buying, but a vintage Schick is a better choice, as is the Pal.

Thanks.
I already have a J1 (I think) and it's very mild.
I think I'll be better served by an adjustable like the PAL.

Hello Mike!

That Tatara brush is bomb, as the older kids said back 20 years ago, isn't it?! I tried it on the pass around DanLaw did and almost bought one. Some days I wish I had. I believe it has Semogue's Sylver synthetic. I bought an SOC Taj with the Sylver in it, but it was too scrubby for my taste. That is the moment I realized I should have bought the adjustable instead! Have you added any other knots?

Take care and hope all is well!
