Pearl "The Sleek" SE razor (modified)

I am getting better with this razor.  The SilverMax half DE blades that comes with it are not particularly sharp but they are smooth and seem to last a long time.  There is only one angle that really works (about 15 degrees) pretty much riding the cap.  You have to concentrate on using minimal pressure because of the lack of blade exposure -only enough to cut.  If you want a close shave, you are going to have to do multiple low pressure passes, at least four.  However, if you use a soap/creme with good slickness this is doable. Avoid chasing BBS.

Post: Stirling witch hazel, PAA Mysterium Serum

I tried the Kai Captain Titan Mild blade with the Romulus based on other's recommendation but that combination with and without a shim was grabby with my 2+ day beard so I switched to the Vector with the ProTouch MG blade to finish the job. I used the Schick for touch ups under the nostrils.
