Will get back to the 1508.5 of NYC tomorrow but just had to use the Bay Rum today. I know there are many iterations and preferences and I am by no means an authority on what a Bay Rum is. But I AM an authourity on what I like and THIS is MY BAY RUM. Awesome scent and with the quality lather and ingrediants to make my skin wake up. GREAT job Frank Dragonsbeard and has me thinking hard on my soap collection and what I should narrow things down to. Why have all these amazing for my skin soaps and not get to them on a more regular time frame due to rotations. Dave is putting his thinking cap on........Have a great day everyone !

I've been on the fence on selling this one as I reduce the den somewhat. Reason being I don't reach for it much and I don't know if I had sellers regret, if I could find another one let alone in this condition and in the original case. After yesterday's stellar shave with the "F" Type I decided it was the D's turn. Another stellar Injector shave with the Type "D" known for it's scissor action design which allows opening for cleaning. A question always asked about Injectors is, Which is the most aggressive Injector. I've used all the letters and TRUST me, it's the "D". This has blade feel for certain and if you are careless it will make you pay, pay attention and you are rewarded with a great shave. It dispells the other common comment about Injectors that they are like "cheating" on shaving or they are as close to "carts" as you can get..........Not the "D"! Have a great day everyone !!

That would be a sale that I would certainly regret.  As you said, they are not often found in such excellent condition.   I find the E1 to shave about the same as my D.

I've seen some claim it similar to an E as well as some say it's more aggressive. There must have been some variance in the assembly or just differing opinions on E models.

Yes, it's entirely subjective.  I think they may have changed the shave when they transitioned from the flat spring to the rounded spring on the E  though.
