Well, tonight was something of a special occasion. My son recently bought a 3D printer kit from Prusa Research in the Czech Republic. 
It was taking him forever to assemble it and eventually he asked me to assist. It wasn't easy, but we figured it out, got it assembled, sorted out the persistent Y-Axis test run faults, he got it calibrated, and started printing things. The fourth project he printed was a customized handle for a Schick Injector razor. I have a Type G1 with a broken handle, and this was just the ticket.

He started with a free (Creative Commons) file from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4647384 and then used Silo to create a separate model of the lettering to combine with it in PrusaSlicer. It all prints as one piece though. The side with my name on it lost part of its normal geometry.



It's a wee bit rough in places, but that has to do with the orientation of the object with respect to the print bed. He thinks he may have accidentally nudged it to some weird angle in the modelling software. Anything with an overhang (like the end farthest from the head) or a bridge-like span often requires special gimmicks because it cannot print across empty space. The head went in with a nice snug press fit. Overall, pretty good for an early effort.
If/when he gets another roll of filament (the consumable plastic, 1.75 mm diameter) that's more like white, ivory, or black, then I'll commission a new one and have it printed upside-down, and with my name inset on the longest flat face (where your thumb normally goes), rather than sticking out from the side. This filament is type PLA in "Galaxy Silver".

Oh yeah - The first shave with it tonight turned out pretty good, with a new Schick blade (and RazoRock "xXx" soap and AS). The balance was similar to one with an original handle.
I like the G1 head way better than my E2.

And ... he gave the first "Benchy" boat print to me. Benchy is the typical benchmark object to test the printer's calibration and stuff.
I was touched. 

Sadly, it's not meant to float.
