Dave, I have a few Auto Strops. I love the look of them and I guess today that look would be called Steampunk. However, I have never really been able to get a comfortable shave from any of them. I have used the Feather blades that fit the razors and also have tried modifying a single edge GEM blade. I guess they're just not made for me.
Maybe not for you. I will say that it was night and day both for comfort and closeness when I shaved with the A1 model. The A2 is just as comfortable but a tad less efficient than the A1. Both are better than the C model I have.

Stunning photo, well done!
I've noticed some other black and white drawings as a background for your photos. Do you draw those? If so, Holy cow! as we'd say in Upper Michigan! If not, then Good eye, because they work very well in your composition of the photo!

Again using the amazing Vanilla Safi generously gifted to me by Pete Patriot The Dragonsbeard Splash and EDP are a perfect pairing for it. Amazed at how well the 2nd use little 17mm boar whipped up a creamy slick lather even though I over did the water. Have a great day everyone !

So I didn't count before but figured I would have enough to use a different SE Razor each day of SEptember without repeating. I now see with just 9 days to go it will be done easily and still have some that have not been used yet and need to do on video. The B Repeater is a heavy guy being all brass and silver plated. It also requires a slightly different angle than a typical Injector. I got a smooth and comfortable shave from it and glad it's in the den and has a companion Type A coming to join it. I may get a Type C eventually to complete the set of Repeaters. Have a great day everyone and let's "Kick this Pig" !
