Dave, I have a few Auto Strops.  I love the look of them and I guess today that look would be called Steampunk.  However, I have never really been able to get a comfortable shave from any of them.  I have used the Feather blades that fit the razors and also have tried modifying a single edge GEM blade.  I guess they're just not made for me. Sad
