Thank you Dan.  I really like the knot - right up there with DG legends - less dense than 14,15 but still wonderful backbone, and excellent flow thru and amazing soft tips.  I think 16 will become a legend over time.

Many love the B16.  Find that Scott's knots differ in properties and often not perfectly radiating; while some decry this, to my perspective lends credence each batch is hand sorted and hand tied. Am suspicious of contrived perfection, it being an indicator of mass production. Hell, even Scott's handles vary somewhat in dimensions within the same run as though hand turned vis-a-vis those CNCed by most artisans

I don't think many artisans using a cnc lathe. Mine are all turned on a simple, basic wood lathe, with hand held tools and without any copying device. I believe therein lies the charm of an artisan created item. Every handle I make is unique.
