Maggards SHD......i haven’t asked the original owner if that was the only knot he looked at before making the decision, however, it doesn’t matter now, I really like the knot.  I was going to pull the knot and put something special in however after using this a few times,  I understand why the owner put this knot in, it IS a special knot.  For ME, it behaves like a B8, that’s all I can correlate. The backbone is firmer than a B5 as is the density and gel of the knot....both of which are spectacular.  Zero scrub, zero scritch; peculiar for me as I’m a HUGE fan of both scrub/scritch. This knot is a welcome addition to the few brushes I have. This was an early MOZINGO turn in which the original owner didn’t reach for much and I’m appreciative I had the opportunity to take it over
