For Wacky Wednesday, a Personnelle-branded "Kabuki EcoBamboo Brush"
The knot is 30 mm diameter, and 43 mm above the aluminum ferrule.
Of course it's for applying liquid foundation or powdered makeup, but I wanted to see how well it could pass for a shaving brush.
I got it from my local Jean Coutu drugstore a few years ago for something like CAD$9, so it was a cheap experiment. I only use it once or twice a year.
The hairs are synthetic, but far thinner than those in any proper shaving brush knot. It's rather soft but the density (and maybe capillary action) gives it enough backbone. Loaded with lather it feels more like a block of squishy memory foam than a brush.
The handle feels good though.

We could be Heroes, just for one day.
