Elite Razor hybrid handle with maggard's shd 28mm bulb that feels like a 30+. I was thinking about getting rid of it but after the lather I got with it this morning it will be a keeper.

[Image: qpCPwxY.jpg]Paladin 2XL Ebonite Pompeii.

I must say that I was after this brush from the day It was released quite some time ago. And just last week thanks to a fellow DFS member (Nachum) I was able to add it to my den. I could not be happier with the brush  aesthetics and performance of the J6 knot. Perfectly balanced backbone, density, flow through and absolutely amazing face feel. And of course the second to none beautiful ebonite handle.

I was surprised to hear the original  owner claiming in a couple of his review videos that the brush was almost floppy and “is not worth the money” he paid for it. I find these two statements inaccurate, judgmental, misleading and disrespectful to the artisan who created this brush.

Inaccurate - the knot is nowhere close to be floppy. It has a very springy backbone and splays just enough.
Judgmental and disrespectful - YMMV and one who is often in a public eye reviewing someone else’s craft should be offering their Honest  observations and NOT only their subjective opinions not necessarily backed by objective facts.
Misleading- if I trusted his reviews, I would have decided not to procure this brush when the opportunity presented itself. And I would have regretted it!

Because in my personal subjective opinion I LIKE this brush very much and to me it is worth every penny I invested in it and every day I spent monitoring shaving forums. In fact it is one of the best brushes that I have ever owned. And I have over 50 high end brushes from major contemporary brush makers.
