This brush is a piece of Art that requires a display with its own lighting! Superior aesthetics on this LE Simpson, I believe Dan installed some sort of tritium lighting module inside that runs off solar. The MORE light you shine on this handle, the brighter it glows.  Honestly the MOST gorgeous navy blue I’ve ever seen.  Simpson’s appropriately named this colour Sapphire.  

Silvertip...I have a couple nice brushes in my bathroom, a few legendary knots, but this one is something special I haven’t experienced before.  I knew if I fed this muscular 26 a tallow, short work would be made....and that’s no fun.  I don’t dabble much in “vegan” soaps.  They just don’t do it for “ME.”  HOWEVER...one of my finest soaps, slick, scent for days, hydrating, moisturizing, amazing barrier and brilliant phantom lather is in fact a vegan soap, PantaRei Gattopardo.  This Silvertip crushed the soap; within 5 min flat lather the consistency of mayonnaise was spilling over the sides of my lathering bowl/mug (currently using a Pereira). Beautiful backbone, soft as silk tips, dense yet flow through was what made this brush special for me. [font=Trebuchet MS]No wonder why some of you “seasoned” Gents collect these Simpson brushes, some of these one-offs are pretty special and worthy of the title “Limited Edition.” [/font]
