Another new brush in the den for this weeks rotation.  Woolyman Shave Company Brush with a 25mm 3 band badger knot & hand turned Cedar handle.

Today I used a Make Up Brush. It does a good job of putting on the soap.

I just received a Stirling 26mm synthetic pro. Jury is still out. Pretty heavy handle. The knot is nice and dense, but almost a little too dense to get a nice splay.

Had a similar experience with the same brush (although mine had the old handle style, which I think is now reserved for the 26 mm badgers). Another 3–4 mm of loft would do wonders for this brush. However, if you load it really heavy with soap, chances are it’ll splay a little easier. (Further use might also help at least somewhat.)

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
