This thing is breaking in just beautifully. It is retaining it's stout, dense bulb of hair, but the tips are softening up very nicely. Every time I use it, it gets softer, and last night there was no scritch at all. Could not be happier with this rejuvenation!

Also, it has only shed maybe half a dozen hairs in total since setting the knot in the handle. I would highly recommend WhippedDog.com for anyone looking to purchase a quality, but affordable badger knot for reknotting or custom brushes. Larry provides good products and good service, and I couldn;t be happier with my purchases from him.
