I guess it would be Gondolier, since that's the only PAA soap I have. I didn't much care for it at first, but it's kind of grown on me.

I bought a sample of Speakeasy aftershave cologne and will definitely be buying the soap. It smells amazing.

Just gave Tombstone a try and the scent is pretty cool. Smells like a Clint Eastwood movie. The good part is the performance and post shave were outstanding.
Before I tried PAA I made a comment that their huge (and strange fnord) scent selection and artsy-fartsy packaging was excessive, and in some way that deterred me from trying them. I suppose I felt that maybe the soap performance took second stage to the scent.
Well I was mistaken! and I can happily say the soap quality is top tier..or epic as they say!!

I just shaved with Tombstone a few minutes ago. I love the scent and performance. So far that's been the case with all of their products for me, mostly samples though.

Picked up Eh+ in honour of upcoming Canada Day. Fun pancakes and syrup scent (because us Canadians only like maple syrup, hockey and poutine and live in igloos.)
Performance is top tier. Look forward to trying more out.

This is absolutely sad that so many people have made excuses for this man's poor behavior. He has made far too many poor business choices to say its all a considence, he did a lot of it for publicity and drama. He does make good products but I will not be ordering anything from him. BST only. This man interviewed himself as 2 different people, that alone means he either has serious mental problems ( must be from the CIA lol) or he is a huge liar. Either way there has been too many problems for me to want to do business with him.

No disrespect for anyone that buys his products and incourages this bad behavior and business practices.

You might want to check out the post http://damnfineshave.com/thread-paa-gene...5#pid75675 and the conversation following it.

I don’t know him personally, and I’m assuming neither do you, but if you read his post and the comments that follow, perhaps you can find it in your mind to at least give him the benefit of the doubt.

(Or not — obviously the decision is yours to make. It just gets so old whenever Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements or Hodges/Smythe is mentioned, and somehow people feel the need to bring up some old matters, like we all haven’t already read about them a hundred times before.)

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Well said. Some people are angry or simply don't believe in forgiveness or second chances. However, what is really sad is that most of the things he is accused of are not even true. If people would take the time to do some research they would realize this. Unfortunately many people only listen to one side and never find the truth, or perhaps aren't even searching for it. Most of the things are baseless and entirely untrue and the others he apologized for. What else do people want?
