That's better than what I had Bruce... ham steaks done in a pan, with Jalapena ranch beans. I like yours' much better.

Simple supper tonight. Fried brown sugar & mustard ham steak, fried sweet potato with a bit of sucannat (dried raw sugar cane sap) and boiled carrots.

Well, today my wife and I went out to the local Cheesecake Factory restaurant for a birthday lunch, and although we generally eat in a pretty healthy way, we just had to get a couple pieces of cheesecake to bring home for a couple evenings' snacks to have while we watch DVD movies. One of salted caramel cheesecake and one of red velvet cake cheesecake. Decadence....

The humble hot dog... not always afraid to bark. We rarely eat hot dogs however when we do we grab the Applegate Farms dogs- organic/uncured and actually decent flavor. Kind of expensive but Trader Joe's to the rescue.

Working from home today and decided to have a dog.

Sweated some onions, peppers, shiitake mushrooms with fresh ground mustard & coriander seed, garlic, salt, pepper. Topped with a light dusting of grated mozzarella.

Nice lunch!
