My rule is that a piece of new kit deserves a month of daily use before it can be evaluated. I broke that rule with the Rex Ambassador. Instead of a strict thirty days I alternated with the Osprey. But it was enough. Now I can say that the Rex is worthy of all the love it largely receives. And that might be down to the blade, in large measure. The Gillette Wilkinson I tried a while ago because of Kensurfs's admiration. He's right. This blade works in any razor. My face gets right along with it. The gel is superb.

I just used my bronze today with the Wizamet in it. I have to say it was a fantastic pairing, and after three passes that shave was as BBS as you could get.
