This was actually from Nov. 17.
The Wilkinson Sword "Classic Shave" TTO DE Razor / Astra SP (9)
The head is okay (feels about like a 4 or 5 setting on a Gillette Slim), but the handle is way too long (110 mm) for the mass of the head, and the one-way spiral knurling doesn't really give any grip. It just sort of screws itself down, from the force of gravity.
But that night I thought, well, wait a minute, it's been almost a year since I've used it. Sometimes my opinion about various products will change.
Let's give it a try.
First thing though, I gave it a few wraps of hockey tape (aka "friction tape").
It certainly helped a lot with the grip, but the balance still sucks. Too bad it wasn't an inch shorter.
Maybe I'll do a prettier application of the tape for the next use. Call it the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Tribute Razor.
P.S. The Band-Aid is totally unrelated to shaving. That was from the careless handling of a mandoline in preparation for slicing up a daikon.

We could be Heroes, just for one day.
