Blutt 1.20 with Astra blade for today. I also have the 0.99 plate. But after using the 1.20, the 0.99 doesn’t see any daylight again. The 1.2 is pretty efficient yet so smooth. Not a bit of irritation at all after shave.

Henson mild (+) razor/Feather blades/Proraso Blue cream/Simpson T3 brush.

Nov. 15th: British Flare-tip Rocket, Astra SP (7)


It's a much better performer than I remembered. I should use it more often. 
I think I somehow confuse the Rocket with my Black-handled SuperSpeed, which can be rough. 
The British-made Gillettes seem to be made to tighter tolerances than their U.S. equivalents. Things like the butterfly doors being less floppy when half-opened make me think that.

Nov 16th: Edwin Jagger DE87, Astra SP (8)



I think it's a gorgeous razor with simple lines, and a good balance of efficiency versus mildness.
My favourite part is that "rocker" curved profile of the bottom of the base plate.

Johnny, an under appreciated shaver. That combo of DE89 + ASTRA is one of the best combos for me.
