Zamak gets a bad rap in the hobby with tales of how it will corrode into nothingness but my experience is, with a smidgen of care, the darn stuff seems to just go and go.  Will there be issues over time?  Sure, but given the relatively inexpensive cost of zamak items still make them a value. In the case of Edwin Jagger, zamak is elevated to a luxury item.  As you know, most EJ heads are the same but the handles are styled differently.  I have always loved the Barley handle and got one as soon as they came available.  EJ does a remarkable job in chrome plating, raising this zamak into the jewelry realm.  Great to look at and a great shaver.
