A Frankenrazor:
head = Canadian Gillette Reverse-Stud Goodwill. The comb resembles the LC New, but maybe with more blade exposure.
handle = Soluna aluminum, made in Soviet-era Czechoslovakia. The original head would have resembled a Tech, IIRC.
These were two items in a box of razor part from a flea market. For CAD$30 I got enough for six working razors.
I've not used it for a year, at least, but it was better than I remembered. I thought it was rougher than it actually was. I'm thinking to use it to replace my Black-Handled Super-Speed in the razor rotation.
If I continue to like it I might buy a repro brass ball-end handle for it, but they seem to cost 10 times more than what I paid for the head. Plus they all seem to be solid brass and much heavier than they should be.
I may compromise and get a RazoRock "UFO" handle - ball-end, stainless steel, for $20.19 CAD.
I just don't like the look of naked aluminum, especially with this knurling pattern.
One odd thing about this handle though, is that when you look at the threaded hole it looks like brass. Is it likely that there is a tapped brass plug in the end to make it more durable?

We could be Heroes, just for one day.
