One of these Wilkinson Sword Classic DE Razors (in the black and grey box, with the "premium long metal handle"), loaded with an Astra SP (11)

I keep wanting to hate this razor because it's, well, Wilkinson Sword (whose blades I do not care for, given their high price) and it was under $20 at the local drugstore, (sniff that cork, eh?), it's a little too shiny (if ya know what I mean), and so on.
The only legitimate gripe I really have with it is that the handle is about an inch too long. The balance is not what I'm used to, and it drags on the countertop if I hang it in my razor storage carousel. The unbroken spiral knurling is very slippery if your hands are bone dry, but once they get wet the grip is about the same as any smooth polished handle.

And you know what? it doesn't suck.
It can give a decent BBS shave even though it has a fairly mild blade exposure. The only reason it's out of the rotation is because I can't hang it on the carousel with the others.
It would not be a bad choice for a starter DE razor.
Total mass (with no blade) is 85 g, and the handle length up to the base plate is 107.5 mm.
