Gillette New SC/Bob's Razor Works Bull Mastiff, still needing a bit more cleaning

Lots of nonadjustable DE razors can be "adjusted" depending on the angle. This of course is common knowledge to anyone who uses straights or shavettes; you change the angle often.
The Dart, though, strikes me as more adjustable than most. This morning I hadn't shaved for three days. I popped in a Gillette Silver Blue on its third shave. Lathered up with Derby from the puck (I actually love the scent and the performance.) For the first pass, WTG, I "rode the cap," meaning that the handle was fairly far from my face. At this angle, the Dart performs for me like a FatBoy or Slim Adjustable on setting 7, with blade feel but it's utterly comfortable. For the second pass XTG, I used a slightly shallower angle. And for the final pass ATG, a fairly narrow angle except for a few areas where the whiskers lie close to the skin and require a more aggressive angle. At this angle it shaves like a FatBoy on 3.
On my upper lip I varied the angle. My upper lip is the toughest area for me to get BBS without getting weepers, but I managed it with this great piece of kit.
I have a Mergress, a Variant, a Futur, and years ago I had a Merkur Vision (easily the worst razor I ever owned; I soon learned why the salesman sneered when I bought it. My apologies to any fans of the now extinct Vision). I rarely reach for an adjustable, finding little need, though I was briefly tempted by the handsome Rex Ambassador but I managed to resist that temptation.
Bottom line: the Dart is easily the most readily "adjustable" nonadjustable I've used. Vary the angle and the razor offers great efficiency or great mildness. Regardless of angle, I always find it comfortable.
