I picked up the RR German 37 slant off the BST and have been able to get a couple shaves in with it...I am really enjoying this razor!  It provides a comfortable shave and is surprisingly efficient. I put my Maggard MR5 handle on today and loaded it with a 2nd use GSB

Gillette’s new DE offering King C Gillette.  I believe Gillette hit their target market dead center.  Is this comparable to a High end razor?  Well, no it’s not.  But it isn’t meant to do that.  What it is meant to do,is shave whiskers off at a price point of thirty bucks and it does that with aplomb.  BBS?  Well I suppose a guy could get there with some work.  What he’s not going to do is have a lot of razor burn or nicks and cuts.  This is one safe safety razor.  Shaves me about like a cartridge.  I can see this as a great tool for a guy getting into this style of shaving without so much learning curve.
