What razor did you use today?

Easily, the oldest and most unusual SE razor in my collection, this Kampfe Bros. STAR lather catcher was originally made for wedge blades, not GEM type SE blades.  As with straight razors, wedge blades had to be stropped and the attachment at the end of the handle in the first photo was designed for the wedge blade to be held in place to make stropping possible.

The spined Gem blades were expected to be stropped as well, sets came with stroppers into the 50s.
