John, how do you compare the Ti 2 versus your 17-4 other than weight? Shave performance differences?

Just WOW! The mixed metals, plus that handle.....absolutely stunning.
Thank You, I love mixing up my Charcoal Goods instruments!  The Hempel UFO wave has always been a fav of mine.

I received the trio kit, tried the Toothsome (I re-named it toothy) which is the open comb.  Paired with a Feather.  I liked it, for ME it’s more aggressive than a CG OC L2, it’s like a 2.5, not quite a 3. But don’t get me twisted, it’s NOT a CG shave.  I hit the corner of my mouth but I was riding the top cap as well as speed shaving.  I know better than speed shaving trying something new especially with a Feather (1)! Otherwise, smooth, efficient, there’s blade feel.  Love the top cap.  I’ll never use the Brawny, that will be a PIF this coming week. Agree with you, for $5 it’s not a bad piece.

The 17-4 hasn't arrived yet; it should get to me in the next couple days. After I have used it a few times, I'll post my impression of it vs. the Ti 2.
