I picked up a Razorock Gamechanger head in the .84 (or whatever it is) configuration. With all the talk about how snazzy a shaver it is I wanted to give it a try. I already own the less aggressive Game changer and figured it ought to be the same except….more aggressive. Well, I get quite a bit more blade feel and that was expected. What was not expected was the difference between the two models. The milder Game Changer to me has an angle very similar to a vintage Gillette and is thus very intuitive for me. This iteration though seems to want me to ride the cap to get the blade angle right, much like the Razorock Mamba has me do. When I open the shave angle, the razor glides, much better. When I use a more Gillettish angle it seems to snag and chatter. Thus far, this one has not been a game changer and I get a better shave from both the milder version and the very mild Mamba. That said, I've only used it for two shaves with a Nacet blade so who knows how this'll turn out? Oh, by the way, it's on a Muhle handle.
