Which plate and how do you like it?

I don't like it....I absolutely LOVE it. Of the razors I own, it's the one I reach for the most. I only have the "D" plate, and the handle is 3". I find the razor to be perfectly balanced and intuitive in use. It's just a pure joy to shave with. At some point I may end up with a stainless and/or aluminum. But, the brass one stays put permanently.

One Blade Core SE razor

This was my first time using the One Blade and I have to admit that it was a unique shaving experience for me.  I really didn't notice the pivoting head, well, pivoting.  There is almost no pressure needed with this razor so there was no movement that would make the head pivot, at least for me.  If I applied slight pressure to force a pivoting motion, it threw off the alignment of the blade to my face.

Also, while I used the accompanying Feather blade, it almost felt as if there was no blade in the razor and, at first, I wondered if I was truly cutting through any whiskers.  However, when I got done with the shave, my face was absolutely BBS with no irritation at all.  I should imagine it would be more difficult to nick oneself with this razor than most others.  It is now four hours later and my face still feels completely smooth.

Compared to every other traditional single edge, artist club single edge, and double edge razor I own, the One Blade Core is easily the most unique in both design and shaving experience.  I can understand why some experienced wet shavers might find such a razor almost too easy to use because it seems as if there is almost no guess work to using it.

The only thing that remains to be tested is the longevity of the blade.  If I can get five good shaves out of a blade then I shall be pleased.

The bottom line for me, though, is that it is a keeper.  I like the razor's style, the comfort and closeness of the shave, and the ease of the shave.
Sometimes, first thing in the morning, it's just nice to almost be able to go on autopilot and know that the final result will be excellent.
