RazoRock Slab with a Nacet

Raw Shaving RS-10.  Some of my razor heads feel better to me on an unmatched handle (UFO, Triad, Stork, etc.), but the RS-10 feels best on its own Raw handle.  Extremely smooth.

A new-to-me Karve bronze the the D plate.  Pretty great combo.  One thing I've learned is that blade gap does not tell the whole story.  This plate has a Pretty aggressive looking gap but the shave was smooth with very little blade feel.  One efficient shave.  A thread I'd been reading likened the D plate to a Rockwell 5 and I found that to be about right.

As usual, a close, very comfortable shave from a $20 razor and a 25 cent blade. A great shave can be very affordable, too.
