What razor did you use today?

Second use of my new RR Black Hawk today. I'm still trying to find an AC style blade that works for me. So far Feather Pro = suck, Feather Super Pro = just OK, Schick Proline = just OK and today was the Kai Captain Titan Mild. It felt pretty dull and tuggy. I'll give it one more try before I pitch it, but I doubt it will feel any sharper.

Jeff, those Kai Captain Titan Mild blades were a disaster for me and after one blade and a few uses I never went back.  My favorites have definitely been the Schick Proline P-30s but, as always, YMMV.  Another blade I had success with was the Feather Pro Guard.  That surprised me because, like you, I really did not care for the Feather Pros or Super Pros.  Go figure.

Thanks Freddy. These AC blades have been a mystery so far. The best combo I've found has been the Schick Proline in my CJB Kamisori, but I prefer to use a safety razor. I did try out the General for a week with Feather Pros and that was not a great shave either. I have a few more blades to try so we'll see.

I was always interested in that blade and maybe you can answer me the questions. So this platinum plus is not made in the Russian factory but in Brazil? Whats the difference between this blade and the Platinum made in Russia?
