Hobbyist, you should at least pop in every few days or weeks and let us know that you are still on the same setup. It’s great to have found something that just works (and is one less thing to think about).

Popping in to say I'm still on the AS-D2. Lol! I admit I have had the urge lately to buy a straight razor. I figure since I already have a set of DMT 3"x8" diamond stones and strop for my woodworking, I can easily maintain a straight razor. I'll post if and when I get one.

Well, you would definitely be in a good spot to try one, and it would make a lot of sense. (However, at our coffee shop meetings with Michael P, I would then be the odd one out, and you fellows would be the cool straight razor guys…)
