What razor did you use today?

Muhle R41 - Maggard MR7 / Astra SP (3)

Bought the R41 during Maggard's Black Friday sale. I've been intrigued by the razor, especially after reading so many posts about it's aggressiveness. Plus, for $17, I thought it was a great deal. Well, it is definitely aggressive. Here's a shot of my styptic pencil. This was taken after applying the alum block twice and the styptic pencil three times!



Other than this little mishap (which was completely my fault as I accidentally moved the razor sideways during a momentary lapse of concentration), I ended up with a very good shave - close, comfy, and nearly zero irritation with the alum block - other than the one spot

Barbaros TR-2 / Med Prep (2)

Fatip Grande - It is 20,- USD razor but for my face works better than some razors for hundrets dolars ...If you can, try it. (btw. I prefer mid-aggressive razors.)

Ouch — the dreaded sideways move! Been there, done that, and never want to experience that again. (Glad to hear your shave was good for the most part, though.)

Parker 24C // Derby Extra blade

RazoRock Mamba.

A very well built razor for the price and feel to it as well. The razor is very, very mild even with a Feather in it but efficient. It doesn't offer much audible feedback or feedback on blade feel but did a good job.

Schick Krona loaded with a shimmed Polsilver Super Iridium blade. Enjoyed a comfortable, smooth two pass shave.
