I forgot how smooth and efficient this razor really is. Using straights all the time, you forget how a DE performs, and this little 48-50 Super Speed is fantastic. The first wild razor I bought. The first vintage DE I bought. My second DE razor ever, but the first I was comfortable and felt "at ease" with, and still a fantastic shaver...

My shoulder is still out of whack, so I reached for the lightest razor I could find. The Dorco is not only light, it's very gentle. I scraped three awkward passes without any irritation. But it wasn't a very close shave. I'm a little sandpapery after only five hours. Can't wait to get back to hefting a heavier axe.
