Matsilainen, I used my SBS for only the second time the other day and while I was disappointed with the shave I got the first time, the second was close, comfortable, and irritation free. I'm not sure what the difference was but I'm happy for it. Smile

Freddy, I’m so glad to hear that! The first shave with mine was so good that I immediately rushed to buy another head. Then the following few shaves gave me some little nicks or slight irritation, and I wondered if I had made a mistake… However, a few more shaves in, and I once again appreciated the SBS for what it is — relatively mild, yet surprisingly efficient.

About the only thing that I think would make it even better is if it were a little lighter. Well, there was another thing that I changed on my own — I polished one of mine. Will put up a short post about that in the Double Edge Razors section.
