You are right, that is a great one.

I like handles on the shorter side, and lately I've really been enjoying lighter weight handles as well. I feel like I get better control and handling of the razor when the balance point is head-heavy, especially when using a more agressive head design. I find that this combination results in a closer and more comfortable shave than trying to make a razor more aggressive by adding a heavier handle.

Recently I just received two new Wolfman WRH2 handles, one in titanium and one in aluminum. Both are 72mm long and 14.5mm in diameter, and they are both excellent. I find the stainless steel version to be a little too heavy in such a compact package.

Stainless, Titanium, Aluminum

I'm going to go against the flow here and vote for the vintage Gillette fat Tech handle. It gives a nice balanced feeling with any brass or Zamak head. It's decent with an aluminum head as well, but a little bottom heavy. I don't mind light razors or heavy razors, but really dislike unbalanced razors.

nothing wrong with liking an old school handle. me, personally, I like anything with some texture on it..helps keep it from slipping around when your hands or the razor get wet.

That's why I like the Tech handle; it has nice texture and never slips. Most of my NEWs have the bar handle, which I swap out because it's too slippery.

Myself, currently, I tend to have preference for the Above the Tie "Atlas" and the Maggard Razors "MR5". I've considered adding the "Kronos" to my lineup, but am yet to take the plunge.

I'm curious...  What is your favourite safety razor handle and why?  Post a pic of you can.

My favorite is the Mongoose Dub Legend and the S.S. handle that came with my Stealth Slant.

I have been very much enjoying the Triad Aristocrat inspired handles I recently picked up...

This is Aluminum Bronze, 85mm x 13mm.
