It has been reformulated Freddy . Uh oh is right! You probably wouldn't care for the new version.
Incidentally, your bottle (and mine) is actually a reformulation. The original wasn't in a ribbed bottle and contained a different formula. Honestly though, I prefer the ribbed bottle (which is the middle formulation). I think it improved on the original by making it more fresh and pleasant. Some might consider my thoughts blasphemy, but there you go. I'll be a happy heathen with my ribbed bottle of Guerlain Vetiver .

No to swing us too far off-topic here, but I have the more recent version of Guerlain Vetiver EdT, and while I've indeed heard it's different from the previous ribbed bottle, I've also heard it's a bit closer to what it was before the "ribbed bottle era" (which apparently emphasizes citrus a bit more). Anyway, point is, I'm very fond of the current version, and still find it to be tobacco-tinged classic class: an excellent take on vetiver. Guerlain may have tweaked it, but they still have a great product in it.

You're right mate, it isn't a bad product by any means. But in my experience people who enjoy the ribbed version (including me) tend not to like the new version as much, because as you mentioned it frames notes differently. On the other hand, people who enjoy the first formulation would likely prefer the latest formulation over the ribbed bottle. It's a matter of differences in taste of course.
NeoXerxes, yes indeed! Good stuff either way.

Would definitely jump in on an LE for Vetyver Santal but do know that Will's release schedule seems heavy and I definitely want to take advantage of the Roam LE this spring.
Well then, its LE Vetyver Santal in 2017.
I am Marko and I approve this message too.

I have far too many vetiver fragrances to be able to justify that . Besides, as I mentioned earlier, I do prefer the ribbed version over the others.
