Henson AL13 Medium. Little to no blade feel, nick proof, comfortable and still efficient enough with 3 passes.

Thank you all for your input. For me, my “Recovery Razor/s” are Gibb type razors. Of course the original Gibbs (15 & 17), Rex Ambassador, Denali, Homelike Taiga, and the Pearl Flexi. Those are the ones I actually own. I know there are some vintage gibb type razors out there such as Personna, Palmera, and L’essor Le Supreme. If there are more please feel free to educate   Smile .

I’ve been wet shaving for almost 2 years (best decision) and I throughly enjoy every second of it. I’m always open to learn from anyone. I understand that’s what works for you may not work for others, but it’s still good to share and respect one’s knowledge and experience.

We’re a small group of people out in the world, so if we find someone who also wet shaves we tend to get excited lol. But not everyone is as into it as we are who are apart of forums, I learned that the hard way haha.

Again thank you all for your input. Every post reply means a lot to me.

If my skin needed a gentle shave I tended to use my Gillette Red Tip Super Speed and didn’t go over any areas repeatedly trying to shave closer.

Now I might use my Executive Shaving Claymore Evolution, which is very mild-feeling, with a nice glide, but also pleasingly efficient. A two pass shave with that is very gentle and there would be no temptation to over-shave.

Or use a straight razor - much gentler on the skin.
