any opinion about the horsehide vs the slightly cheaper leathers?
I ended up getting a Tony Miller Strop in bridle leather and it is roughly the same price as the Razor Emporium strop (which is a great strop).

The ones listed on his site are the ones available for immediate shipping. However I wanted a 3" strop a while back, emailed him on a Wednesday and he made it for me and I had it on Monday.
