Tbone Man, just watch his latest videos. He spends quite a bit of time lamenting...........It's quite obvious to a casual observer, but perhaps you might need to stenographer him as well to fully glean his meaning. Wink

Before I did not think you were throwing rocks at TSE, but now I do. It seems to me your just out to slam him in this thread, yet provide no basis for doing so. Do you expect him to be happy with such misbehavior?

I have watched his videos, nearly all of them. It is quite obvious that there is precious little kvetching, and the video content almost entirely informational. His presentations are polished, mature, and well stated. I know the mature part might come as a shock to certain members of the audience, and so yeah, they might find TSE's videos quite unseemly. The rest of us can simply carry on being normal wetshavers and enjoying TSE's presentations.

Here's the thing Tbone When TSE makes videos about even 2-3% of wet shaving forum members being Cookoo (or whatever he said)...people are going to get defensive and fire back, regardless if they have ever watched his videos or not.

Not to mention, if he wants to be a YouTube or WetShaving social media face, he is going to have to be able to take criticism with a grain of salt. Making videos venting about those people or those threads, aren't going to win him over any new fans.

He's a member here and free to reply to any and all discussions. If he chooses to make a video about this thread, you can expect more stones to be thrown. If that is what these discussions and comments are considered.

All evidence has been buried, all tapes have been erased.

LOL, the only attacking going on here is you to me Tbone and that is apparent. I can't say anything more positive about the guy besides I watched his videos and agreed with him so much that I spent my hard earned money based on his advice and opinions. It is quite obvious the guy has had some kind of major change of heart to get rid of much of his collection, practically stop making reviews all-together, then lament members of the shaving community that I have no idea about. If anything, it seems to me that he is starting some kind of drama to make any videos about any thing related to people being "crazy". What happened to the product reviews?. Truly, if the guy were just over and done, he'd be over and done. That's why I un-subscribed. Something weird has and is going on with that dude. I brought it up here because its a shaving forum and I figured some people might be able to extrapolate on the situation. I appreciate all the responses, but to say I have any ill intent towards that guy is superbly mis-informed. I'm glad I caught the videos I did,..........but I'm just not into guys who are giving up the hobby and/or upset with so and so and want to tell me about it. That's drama........I just wanted more reviews.

I think we have pondered this to death.  Shall we give it a rest and move on, please?

He made a bunch of free videos, put a lot of time and energy into filming, editing and putting out the content. I can understand where he is coming from. Why put your free time into something you love only to have a people be an ass and ruin why you were doing it in the first place.

I guess I'm just out of the loop. I was thinking maybe his old lady got on to him about his collection (as could happen to any of us at any time), spending too much time in the hobby, etc. Apparently, someone has seriously pee'd in his cheerios. I used to follow Badger and Blade and held strong to my Grandfather's Gillette superspeed and Mama Bear's soaps for a few years before finding the youtube community. Now I have 10 or so razors from Ikon, Merkur, Maggard, PAA and some awesome Plisson style brushes and myriad great soaps from Razo-rock, PAA, Sterling, Catie's Bubbles, etc. RIP TSE, you will be missed. Thanks for introducing me to so many awesome products. Perhaps its time to use what I have for another few years until there's another moment of intrigue.

Isn't that what a forum is for to ponder things that are on people's minds? If one not be interested in the topic one surely doesn't need to read about said topic and or respond. This is of obvious interest to some folks, so let them ponder!!! suggesting they "move on" I think is kind of rude frankly. Just as if one suggested we "move on" from the writing instruments thread of which you and I both post in etc. etc. would probably offend you and you would interpret that as rude. If the topic not interest you Freddy, you need not view or respond to that topic. However, suggesting people move on because you view the topic as concluded or of little importance isn't really appropriate in my eyes either.

I didn't interpret Freddy 's comment as necessarily dismissive as a member but more framing as a moderator.

There is some passionate discussion that seems it may take a turn to being non-productive and felt he was diffusing.

Just my .02.
