If I may contribute a rather mindful observation to this rambunctious thread...

I have never received samples from Mo. I have bought one of his vegetal soaps (which I still consider to be the best veg soap I have ever used) and have otherwise not had a chance if using his tallow soaps.

Based on everything I have read here, elsewhere and on his IG feed, he seems like a standup guy who is truly passionate about shaving and fragrance. To me personally, that is the kind of person I want to buy from.

That said, the long absence of available inventory and the likelihood of a feeding frenzy upon the next release, combined with the ready availability of other high quality soaps from very passionate artisans, has definitely made me feel indifferent about this release. It is hard for me to get excited about buying a product that will effectively be impossible to reacquire when used or only through herculean effort.

So for me, I think I am sitting out any releases until or if inventory becomes more regularly available. That should be good news for those of you who compete for these products.

I wish nothing but the best to Mo and any of you buying his products. I am sure they will be spectacular.

Thank you for the compliments and your business atxwatch

It's really fantastic how many other amazing other artisans products out there! They're only getting better as we all move forward Smile

I really wish there was an easy way for me to speak about the extended absence of my product. Maybe one day I will. Life events sometimes get in the way of what we want to achieve.

Rest assured, I'm doing my best to have my product available at all times. I really would love to make a living from selling mens' grooming products. I'm good at it Smile

Thanks for the kind words Mo. I have no doubt you will be successful with this endeavor. Your passion will get you there and you certainly don't need my purchases to hit it out of the park.

Sooner or later things will stabilize and I'll come on board the GD train...

The tallow formula really is one of the best soaps I've ever used. I don't know if the recipe of the upcoming release is different or not. It's hard to keep track of. Regardless, I would be interested in picking up a jar, but like atxwatch said, it's likely going to be a feeding frenzy trying to get some. I don't play that game so I can wait until it's readily available. Unless enough is made to satisfy the masses?

Thank you so much for your business wyze0ne. You've always been supportive of me here and elsewhere, I appreciated it.

I agree, chasing products is pointless when there are amazing offering by many talented artisans at this time. Primus-tallow is a bit better than previous generation. I'll speak about it in due time. Please look over the main thread for what I else I have been working on Smile I'll post something in few minutes.

I have been going through this brand's threads ever since I joined the forum, months back. Initially, it piqued my interest to buy some of the soaps people were raving about. However, it was a story of "sour grapes" for me. Product is always sold off. Multiple attempts didn't yield any success.

With the owner always experimenting with new scents, new bases, New products, demand is never satiated and lot of poor folks like me never get to try any of the soaps. New soaps come with new set of problems viz curing time, raw materials getting out of stock etc etc etc and products not available for longer times.

While MO and only MO decides how to run his business but these were my observations as someone at the fence and never getting a chance to score...?

My guess is that in addition to “big pharma,” the time has now come for various “big lanolin” theories to surface…

They used Big Tobacco as a business blueprint.

As much as I HATE lanolin, I'd still take Big Lanolin over the big evils: Big Pharma, Big Tobacco, or Big Food.
