I find that all Grooming Dept soaps are great but they do differ substantially by base.
If you like a thick cushioned lather that is super protective, suggest duck or donkey milk base with the duck being even more hydrating than the donkey milk. If preference is to a super light barely there lather, then suggest the lamb or lusso with the lusso being the lamb on steroids. The beef and vegan base are quite good and a middle ground between the others mentioned.
My perspective is to use the lusso and lamb (but especially the lusso) as a late spring to mid fall soap then transition to donkey until midst of winter when switch to duck - akin to seasonal German beers from Ayinger (who am I kidding, drink Ur-Weisse year round -ha!).
As regards scents, am out of that game regarding soap, using all unscented for past 6 months.
