Le Labo - Gaiac 10 Tokyo (201?)

Recent talk about I Coloniali and guaiac wood in general reminded me of this sample I've since I can’t remember.
This isn’t so much a 'perfume' as a very subtle and ethereal skin fragrance. It's like a soft woody cloud that surrounds your intimate space, offering just a few cozy musky whiffs from time to time. Its gentle tone certainly shares something with the aforementioned soap, but that's where similarities end as well. Unexpectedly good longevity and perfect for some layering, I personally enjoy it a lot on its own too.

LeLabo nailed this 'City' fragrance. Perfectly fits Japanese sensibilities.
