Like GlazedBoker I also went with vetiver today.... One I've been wanting to try as I hoped it is a softer, warmer vetiver. And compared to say, Encre Noire, the Malle Vetiver Extraordinare does meet that criteria. I think there's some cashmaren and a soft musc that helps give it such a a quality. I did like it a lot. Might get a larger size than this tester.

Another testing of a Frédéric Malle -- this time a repeat use of Musc Ravageur, which I've enjoyed trying the last two or three weeks in testers. I've liked it so much that a full bottle is on its way - looking forward to adding it to my fairly small core group of cold weather scents.

Specifically, why do you favour it?

And with a kick of spice, particularly cloves (which I always seem to like). I agree with most folks and find it strongly enticing with its lusty first hit. But then the dry-down is incredibly good: turns to a softer more sensual musk– a creamy, warm vanilla/ amber / clove scent that is altogether comfortable and comforting, and that does have a good duration.(Yesterday, 05:32 PM)Lesser Wrote: Another testing of a Frédéric Malle -- this time a repeat use of Musc Ravageur, which I've enjoyed trying the last two or three weeks in testers.
