Agree, a lovely frame to some beautiful scent, so glad I was able to snag this when re-released last year (thanks to a generous DFS member actually!)

And totally agree about La Forêt too. I once wrote to hawns , begging for one last comeback of that as well, never had an answer unfortunately...

What do you like in the current lineup?  Anything comparably compelling to La Forêt?

Oh bummer, one of the very few tobacco I didn’t dislike...

As far I’m aware, there’s nothing in the current lineup with that deep, luscious greenness like LFdL. In the same department I quite enjoy Sunrise on LaSalle and La Petite Prairie (especially the latter), but they’re both on the brighter side of that green spectrum.
