What is your perspective?

Well, it’s a very clean musc.  Slightly creamy.  Becomes a skin scent, or less, quickly, leaving a hint of something there but not a recognizable scent - unless your nose is good at picking up ambroxan and a touch of musc. I like it better than Molecule 01 as a base layer.  I once described it thusly:  Some days one doesn’t want to smell like perfume. Some days one doesn’t want to smell like bergamot, or vanilla, or tobacco, or some flowers, or leather, or a mixture of any of those, or really strongly much of anything at all. Some days one just wants to smell like a human body — perhaps like sexy skin magnified. That’s Le Musc & La Peau for me. It’s a white musk (and supposedly combines seven kinds of musk) that is just creamy and soft. Like coming out of a shower. Or putting on a clean white linen shirt. For me, on the right days, or to just be unadulteratedly musky and, as such, sexy, this is a darned good choice

This IS every bit as good as claimed and better.

A bomb tobacco can be hideous but this is a joy. If not my favourite scent, right there at the very tip of the spear.

Dior Homme 2011

How Lalique does it I haven't the slightest idea. Superb quality that borders on niche level standards & surpassing them at times. All the while making their fragrances extremely affordable. Leather Copper is another rendering of masterfully crested perfumery. Leather & Citrus done to near perfection. To my nose at least.....
