I have some Fine Fragrances Aficionado aftershave coming.  I've been wanting to try a 'tobacco' aftershave, and this one was pretty inexpensive.

A GEM Contour II razor. I thought it was an original Contour, but upon more research discovered that its actually a II. Its got a cheaper all plastic handle and flip top instead of push button opening. Oh well , we'll see how it shaves. I would prefer the metal handle though. Also have a PAA Bakelite OC Slant razor and Otra aftershave inbound as well.

Well, my Hard Translucent Arkansas stone is on the FedEx truck, and out for delivery. Should be refining a couple edges when I get home tonight!

I'm not sure just why - I guess because I really like Hermès scents - I have a Terre d’Hermès shaving cream coming. Now I have to think about whether or not to get the matching aftershave lotion.

SO EXCITED!!!

THIS will be at my door when I get home from work tonight. I have 2 blades sharpened up through 10k on the Naniwas, just waiting for the finishing touches on this bad boy. Here's hoping this stone doesn't create frustration and humiliation for me...

Rumour has it that these guys are fairly easy to learn, and are a good place to start with Jnats, so...hopefully I can get a really decent edge from her, and take my honing to the next level...
