Last year I had my OL plated in palladium by BRG. Looks amazing and got rid of the faint drag I was feeling but the original brass looks great also imo.

Wow, that looks amazing! Beautiful razor. I am such a huge fan of the white metals. I had my one OL done in 24K. It is well done and beautiful, but I am so much more drawn in to my Rhodium one. I wasn't sure what handle to send in this time and I was debating on sending my Gladius with it as well. Seeing this, I kind of wish I had.

A Taj handle SOC mixed badger/boar brush. I think I have the full set now of mixed, boar, and badger. Unless there is a Taj synthetic. Then I have more shopping and hunting to do! Mine are all secondhand from various places, mostly the sellers' section on Murphy &McNeil.

I ordered Occam's SE-noch on Tuesday of this week and it is out for delivery today! That was fast, from Idaho, I think.

I often wonder why someone would give up a SOC. It seems like the pinnacle of shave brushes to me. Well, maybe not the pinnacle but what is there not to like about a SOC?

Ordered! Loved the synthetic fibers used in the adjustable Tatara brush that I got to try this summer, and I happened to be on the Maggard Razors website and saw that there is an SOC Taj synthetic brush!

Found this for a solid deal on the used market. I got it in the as machined finish which I prefer along with the high efficiency plate, a medium plate, an extra handle, and the simple stand. I would have preferred the EH plate, but the H one will work and most importantly, I got the finish I wanted and the 3.5" handle. If anyone is interested in the medium plate or the 3.75" handle, let me know. I also don't have to wait 4 months. Not a knock on Yates, I understand  and respect his situation, but the wait did have me hesitant on getting one personally. And the price for a US machined SS razor, in my opinion, is very fair for the quality I hear about. It was manufactured 3/24.

I loved the 1st Sabre and asked Shane several time over the years to make one in titanium.

So I had to buy the new version in Titanium and I grabbed a shirt with it and a pack of blade.

Edit: Btw the price displayed are in CAD
Really admire Shane's Blackland Razors innovative and elegantly simple designs
