It got close, but then the USPS decided to move it from my local distribution center to a completely different post office than my local one (about 20 minutes away). Sigh. This seems to be the standard these days from the USPS.

Time to grab the popcorn and watch the adventure that my brush endures. Lol.[Image: ea3c11e7110b49a041cdcfef1d2c0aca.jpg]

I have had that happen also. It got close enough I could have just picked it up, then it moved further away before it came back and got to me. Very nice handle. We'll be watching as this delivery unfolds!!!
Party
It actually arrived a while ago. Didn't look as good as the picture. At first I thought it was a defect, but the more I looked at it, it was just an unfortunate pour.

That would have been fine except the knot really wasn't my cup of tea. Too scritchy. Just as a point of reference, I like things like the AP Shave Co Cashmere knot... soft and luxurious.

It's already been sold off. Easy come easy go. Lol. I'll eventually want to try again, as I'd like one more 26mm in my den. I'll just be more careful next time, researching the knots.

That escalated quickly. Tongue But, yeah, that does happen. Since I have been using the T3 brush, I used my Shavemac from AP Shave Co. with the Muhle STF knot in it. While the Muhle not is quite soft, I think I might be finding it to be softer than I would actually like, and while I really loved the handle when I got it, since I've had it, I just really haven't fallen in love with it. I'd like to order another brush from them. They have a knot that the way they were, seems like it would be the same or similar to the sovereign fibers they use use in the T3.

I got one of those "24 Hour Flash VIP Sale - Extended" emails from Italian barber, and I thought I'd actually go see what was on sale instead of automatically deleting it.

RazoRock HOLLOW HD Handle - 316L Stainless Steel
$17.99 CAD $24.89 CAD
[Image: ejRfs0w.jpeg]
Finally, a stainless handle that doesn't weigh a ton. This one's 82 mm long and masses 56 grams (versus 72 g for the solid version). It's going to be my new SLOC handle, and should balance better.
I don't know why you don't see more hollow handles in stainless. They're drilling it out at least part way for the head, so why not just keep going all the way through?

While I was there, I decided I need more xXx aftershave.

Why do I always put this sort of thing off until Friday evening? Usually nothing gets shipped before Monday.

Classic handle, I have the non hollow version. Personally I prefer heft, but hollowing is a good idea for those who prefer stainless but less weight. My Fatip Grande razors are hollowed though I believe brass. I got their SS Haloed UFO handle on one of those sales for half price. They always have some decent deals if you look. Juts do it before Friday!!!

Some recent deliveries... because I really needed another 2 years of shaves in my soap massif, plus the Blackland Osprey (stainless, not shown).

The West Indies and the Baygère are even better than I imagined.
